Silverspring Community Association Preschool Programs Winter 2012:
- Beginner Dance - 3-4 years at Mother Theresa school gym Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:00pm Jan 24 - April 10 and 4-5 years from 7:05 - 7:35pm (CANCELLED DATES: TBA) Also, 3-5 years at Silverspring school small gym Fridays from 6:00 - 6:30pm, Jan 27 - April 20 (CANCELLED DATES: TBA) Interactive class taught by a qualified instructor to introduce preschool aged and younger school aged children the basic steps of ballet, tap, and jazz. This class is non- competitive and includes fun instruction and positive encouragement.
- Blast Ball - 3-4 years at Bishop Filevich Ukrainian School Thursdays from 6:15 - 7:00pm and 4-5 years from 7:00 - 7:45, Jan 26 - Mar 29. Blastball teaches T-ball skills like throwing, hitting, running, and fielding with an exciting twist. The batter hits the ball off of a tee from the start and runs to the blast base which honks when stepped on. Gloves/ mitts/ helmets are not needed because the softness and size of the ball though you may bring a glove and a water bottle if you’d like. (CANCELLED DATES: TBA)
- Kindersize II - 3-5 years and adult at St. Volodymyr School Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:00pm, Jan 24 - Mar 27. This program will offer your child the opportunity to enjoy music, games and run and tumble activities on their own. (CANCELLED DATES: TBA)
- Kindersize Parent & Tot - 2-3 years and adult at St. Volodymyr School Tuesdays from 6:00 - 6:30pm, Jan 24 - Mar 27. Activities to suit the active lifestyle of a 2 or 3 year old. With your child, experience fun through music, games and run and tumble activities. An adult must accompany the child. (CANCELLED DATES: TBA)
- Sports ABCs - 3-5 years at Silverspring School Small Gym Thursdays from 5:45 - 6:15pm, Jan 19 - Apr 5. An interactive class that introduces children to sports and basic games (CANCELLED DATES:TBA)
- Learn To Skate - 4-8 years at Silverspring Rink Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:00pm, Jan 25 - Mar 28.
